My Fulfil Cookies & Cream Protein Bar Review! In this post you will get a detailed protein bar test and review of the Fulfil Vitamin & Protein Bar in Cookies & Cream Taste!
So I just hope you test my protein bar series. If that shouldn’t be the case, I definitely recommend you check out my column Protein Bar Tests. Of course, only after you’ve finished here 😉
You want to know more about the criteria of my protein bar tests before we start the Fulfil Protein Bar Test! Then take a look here: My protein bar test criteria.
Criterion 1: The optics
Let’s just start with the first protein bar Criterion on the optics of the protein bar! Here, the “Fulfil Cookies & Cream” has definitely aroused high expectations by the cookies shown on the packaging. The whole thing can also hit relatively well too. However, only when cutting. Therefore, a little too much promised than really delivered. Still, better than example of the Premier protein 50 protein bars.
Criterion 2: Taste
But looking is not everything! So let us move on to the second criterion of a good protein bar. The taste.
Personally, I have to say that I am quite satisfied with the taste of Fulfil Cookies & Cream. It tastes very crunchy, not too sweet and something according to the typical Oreo biscuit taste. But not like a real one.
Criterion 3: Consistency
But unfortunately, consistency is much more important for protein bars. Because many taste very tough due to the high artificial fiber content! But that is absolutely not the case here in the case of the Premier Fulfil protein bar! Because this tastes mega crunchy and looks more like a biscuit than a tough protein bar. Definitely a plus point!
Criterion 4: The nutritional values
But let’s take a look at the nutritional values of the Fulfil protein bar. Starting with the most important, the protein content. The bar with just under 20g of protein on 55g bars can master this relatively confidently! However, with just over 200 calories, the bar is more likely to deliver in the upper medium for protein bars. The high fat content of 9.3g may not be quite as optimal. Unless you try to feed yourself low-carb or want to keep your carbohydrate content relatively low, as in carb-back loading, for example. Ultimately, therefore, not so bad nutritional values for a snack between or before the workout. But not so top for after or during training.
Criterion: 5 Quality
That’s how we get to the quality of the bars. So the ingredients and contents of the protein bar. Unfortunately, the Cookies & Cream Protein Bar consists of soy protein and chocolate with fibres & sweeteners. As protein sources, soya has already been used clearly. Which in itself is not bad. But also not exactly high-quality. I don’t think you have to say more about the ingredients of the bar. Everything else is more of a component that ensures the good outer and crunch effect.
Ingredients Fulfil Vitamin & Protein Bar Cookies & Cream 55g:
Soy – Protein, chocolate with fibres and sweetener 20 (cocoa mass, dextrin, cocoa butter, sweetener (erythriite, steviol – glycosides), inulin, oligofructose, low-fat cocoa, emulsifier (soy lecithin), natural flavor), filler (polydextrose), Soy crisp ( Soy – protein, low-fat cocoa, tapioca starch), white chocolate with fibres and sweeteners 12.4 (cocoa butter, whole milk powder, Dextrin, sweeteners (erythritol, steviol – glycosides), inulin, oligofructose, whey protein ( Milk ), skimmed-milk powder, Emulsifier ( soy lecithin), natural flavouring, vanilla), humectos (glycerine), gelatin – hydrolysate, oligofructose, Soy oil, cocoa mass, sunflower oil, flavors, low-fat cocoa, vitamins (vitamin C (ascorbic acid), nicotinamide, vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate), calcium pantothenate, vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride), folic acid, Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin), salt, emulsifier ( soylecithin)
Criterion 6: The price
So now to the last criterion. The price. In terms of price, the bar is clearly one of the more expensive protein bars. So you can usually buy it for a little more than 2 €. Even if it is sometimes cheaper to obtain. Personally, I have at Body & fit for 1.5 € on offer* Secured.
