Today there is once again a special protein bar test. Because today gives the PowerBar Protein Nut2 bar test! This is not just a typical protein bar. But it is too equal a delicious nut bar. As one of the names already reveals.
Similar to my last Aldi Protein Bar Test, you can get this bar in almost any supermarket or discounter. However, unlike my Aldi Protein Bar Test, you can get this almost anywhere. But enough of the many words let’s start with the actual PowerBar Protein Nut2 bar test!
The nutritional values of the PowerBar Protein Nut2 bar:
The nutritional values of the PowerBar Protein Nut2 bar So is started as always with the most important. The nutritional values of the PowerBar Protein Nut 2 bars it . After all, these are also the real reason to buy the protein-rich snack alternative. And so not to have to resort to sweet temptations of the normal chocolate bar.
Leg at first glance at the nutritional information quickly falls on the only 15g protein im bar stuck. This is of course relatively small and it is not easier to crack the “magic” 20g mark. This, of course, is relatively unattractive for a protein bar. However, I have already mentioned that this is also a nut bar. Thus, even the very high fat content of 7.7g is relatively not too big a surprise. It’s a positive thing that only 1.4g of sugar is stuck in the bar and only 178 Kcal in total.
The ingredients of the PowerBar Protein Nut2 bar:
But what about the ingredients? After all, with the very high fat content, it is to be hoped that they are also high-quality fat sources such as nuts. However, this is not confirmed at first glance. Just under 23% are only milk chocolate and the second most proportion is cocoa butter. Both now don’t really bomb sharply. Genuine nuts are easier to contain just 3%. If you add peanut flour and peanut marrow, 11.5%. But as far as the protein source is concerned, the bar seems to be well stocked! Because the biggest source of protein seems to be a milk protein mixture. Paired with a little collagen and soy protein. But best convince yourself of the ingredients:
Ingredients from the PowerBar Protein Nut2 bar:
Milkchocolate chocolate cure with sweetener (23%) [Sweetener (maltite), Cocoa Butter, Fullmilkpowder, cocoa mass, emulsifier (soylecithine), aroma], Milkprotein (calciumcaseinat, wheynprotein isolate), humecrant (glycerin), water, soyprotein, collagen hydrolysate, sweetener (sorbitol, sucralose), peanutflour (6%), vegetable fats (palm kernel, palm), dextrin (wheat), Soycrispies [soyprotein, starch, salt], Peanuts (3%), Peanutmark (2.5%), leanmilkpowder, flavourings, emulsifier (Soylecithins, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, sorbitantristearate, acidity regulator (sodium citrate), salt.
Taste: How does the Milk Chocolate Peanut Protein Nut 2 bartaste?
So let’s get to the really important topic of taste! Before I should, but still mention that I tried the flavor Milk Chocolate Peanut for my test. In my opinion, this extremely tasty tastes and also in terms of consistency I am really convinced! Above all, I find the Snickers-like nut cream in the upper part of the bar very tasty! The “nutty” taste promised by PowerBar is also quite convincing.
Special features of the PowerBar Protein Nut2 bar:
On the subject of special features of the bar, I noticed really positively that the bar can deliver a really juicy and soft consistency. Besides, I find the idea of selling two small bars in one pack really awesome. So you can also share super if needed!
Price of the Protein Nut2 Protein Bar:
In terms of price, I have to admit that the almost discounter protein bar is quite good. Of course, you have to pay more than one euro for it. But with a price range of 1.19 €-1.49€, the bar is definitely worth a test! Of course you can also order the bar online, as for example here on Amazon: Powerbar Protein Bar
